Had a great session with this cutie pie today. She was so great the entire session and lasted quite a bit longer than most of my little ones at three months.

Relax and Enjoy

This session was a piece of cake. A wide open private beach, great light, a rockin' 7 year old that loved me, a fun and energetic mom who is an amateur photog herself, and an absolutely perfect warm breeze. I love shooting in Mexico.

This is my little model, Cassi. I absolutely adore her and can't wait to see her the next time I am in Cabo!

She was writing me a special note in the sand.

Today is one of those days

Today is one of those days where you feel like your feet are to heavy to move... one of those days where you wish you could just run forward to forget the past.. to know what God has for you just around the corner. I have this thing with staircases... and today I am realizing that it has some type of symbol on my life. I sat and looked at this shot today... it says "You have a choice. Choose to walk down the stairs.. an easier route.. one that you can see what you are getting. (If you pay close attention you can even get a glimpse of what's ahead of you.. most times you already know... here you can already see pieces ... art.. that you can choose from) Or dare to walk up.. the more difficult and unknown route." Which will you choose? For today.. my feet won't move.. they are too heavy.

Instead I will stand in place and look up to a new light. (I think that is Mary in the corner...)

Soaking up the sun

If I close my eyes.. I can still remember how the sun felt on my back. Unfortunately... I have to try very hard since the chill of a MN winter spills into my bedroom window.

Here's to the warm memories from my Cabo trip. Just a week ago I was laying on this beach....
